The best of the auctions in our opinion is the one off situation. Currently a major art gallery has closed. The collection is to be sold unreserved. These containers have to be moved within 24 hours of docking on occasion the situation arrives where the company pays for the goods two months ago no longer exists. The demurrage charge is £100 per day per container is applied for a maximum of 30 days only. The receiver must make a decision to 1. return the container to the country of origin at his expense or 2. sell the goods as quickly as possible which usually mean auction. The contents of the container could literally be anything from a brand new BMW Motor Bikes to Washing up liquid. We will advise you where the most interesting goods are sold by the best auctioneers.
